DAILY CRUISES

Aegialis Hotel & Spa invites its guests to enjoy the organised daily cruises around Amorgos.
Because the island is mountainous, some places are almost only reachable by waterways.
For this reason, we propose two different cruises so you can explore and admire all these beautiful places and beaches.
Daily trips to the surrounding and inhabited islets are also available. 

This first cruise is an excursion to the south-east coast and beaches of the islands.
Taking a small boat from “Kalotaritissa” beach in the southern part of Amorgos, you will journey back north of the island to discover beaches, such as Chalara and Sparti, as well as several incredible places such as Metallio, the bauxite mine where we can still see the iron tools people used. Many local people used to work there until the beginning of the 1940’s by gouging bauxite.
Swimming stops will also be organized so you can enjoy the deep blue waters.

Aegialis Hotel & Spa organizes this second cruise in order to visit the north-eastern beaches of the island. 
Starting from the port of Aegiali, you will discover and enjoy the beaches of Psili Ammos, Chochlaka, and Mikri & Megali Vlychada.
